Sign-in-walled documents get a low-risk nudge to confirm your readers can open them. Sites that block automated readers are reported as unverified, never as broken — a paywalled article is a perfectly good link for a human. ## Why it matters Links are the part of a document nobody re-reads. They rot silently after publish, they carry the citations your credibility rests on, and a single mispaste can send readers to a competitor — or to a lapsed domain serving something worse. #### [Markup AI for Google Docs](/apps/google-docs) The fastest way to use this agent: catch and fix issues right inside Google Docs, with the Markup AI Chrome Extension. #### [Use it in your AI assistant](/mcp) Available on Markup AI's hosted MCP server as `link_integrity` — or ask for a review and let Markup AI select it. #### [Run it via the API](/developer/agents/link-integrity) Resolve the agent by name and run it with one call — full examples in the Agent Reference. > Every link goes where it says it goes.
